PP Eiko is an elegant mincho style font that combines references from traditional Japanese design with modern freshness: high contrast, sharp serifs and precise curves brought Eiko a perfect softness for magazines, headings, editorial design and more. Its resources include kana alphabets, a large repertoire of Japanese punctuations, stylistic sets with circular and square numbers, vertical writing, subscript and superscript numbers, mathematical symbols, meteorological symbols, ligatures, arrows and many alternates.
And now: a new basic educational set with 81 kanjis! The typeface was inspired by the work of Eiko Ishioka, a multitalented Japanese artist, this typeface seeks to convey the same aspect of her work in these typographic explorations. This production is a tribute for her work.
