Sarcastic is a monoline display typeface. It draws influence from a visual language of mid-twentieth century consumerism: 1950s script typography and the rhythmic forms of interconnected neon lettering.
In the heart of the postwar economic boom, emerging technology gave rise to a new consumer language. Development of phototypesetting made the overlap of characters simple and the use of script typefaces mushroomed at this time.
Sarcastic is perfect for contemptuous quips, disparaging proclamations, and castigating commentary.
