Spotify (/ˈspɒtɪfaɪ/; Swedish: [ˈspɔ̂tːɪfaj]) is a Swedish audio streaming and media services provider founded in 2006 by Daniel Ek. It is one of the world’s largest music streaming service providers, with over 356 million monthly active users, including 158 million paying subscribers, as of March 2021.

Spotify offers digital copyright restricted recorded music and podcasts, including more than 90 million songs, from record labels and media companies. As a freemium service, basic features are free with advertisements and limited control, while additional features, such as offline listening and commercial-free listening, are offered via paid subscriptions. Users can search for music based on artist, album, or genre, and can create, edit, and share playlists.

And the font is used on the Spotify logo which named is Gotham Font Family.

Gotham is a geometric sans-serif typeface family designed by American type designer Tobias Frere-Jones with Jesse Ragan and released from 2000. Gotham’s letterforms were inspired by examples of architectural signs of the mid-twentieth century. Gotham has a relatively broad design with a reasonably high x-height and wide apertures.

Since creation, Gotham has been highly visible due to its appearance in many notable places. This has included Barack Obama’s 2008 presidential campaign, Michigan State University branding, and the 2016 federal election campaign of the Australian Labor Party. The font has also been used on the cornerstone of the One World Trade Center in New York. It is also the current font used in MPAA title cards for film trailers in the U.S.
