Avería (“breakdown” or “mechanical damage” in Spanish – related to the root in the English word “average”) is often a Unicode typeface superfamily designed from the typical of all fonts around the computer of the creator, Dan Sayers. The method is described at iotic.com/averia. All metrics are the result of an averaging approach. The integrated glyphs are those that existed in a majority of the supply fonts.

The Averia Libre families of fonts are determined by the average of all 725 fonts inside the Google Web Fonts project, released under the SIL Open Font License, as of 9 Nov 2011.

Averia Sans Libre exists in six styles, and you will find also the Averia Libre, Averia Serif Libre and Averia Gruesa Libre families.

You can use this font for both personal & commercial.
