Diary of a Wimpy Kid is a series of fiction books written by American author and cartoonist, Jeff Kinney. The books follow pre-teen Greg Heffley, who illustrates his daily life in a secret diary.

Coop Forged Font is the font used for logo of Diary Of a Wimpy Kid. Although Chris Cooper is best known for his rock poster art, tattoo flash and trademark “smoking devil,” our one-track minds looked straight past the scantily-clad vixens and locked onto his beautifully-rendered letterforms. Coop was reluctant to work with us at first, but eventually came around when he figured out that he wouldn’t have to draw his own headlines anymore. After a few brushed alphabets, lots of Ken Barber typographical elbow grease, and a colorful release party, the fonts quickly made their way to the cereal box aisle, fast food wrappers and major entertainment empire style guides.
