Lucemita is a light-hearted, calligraphic-style handwritten typeface drawn freehand with a fine marker and then digitized for use on computers.
The name of this fountain is dedicated to the memory of my dear aunt Lucemita, the one who left me the most loving memories of my childhood.
This handwritten typeface contains several additional character sets for aesthetic purposes, such as alternative capital letters for the beginning of words or lowercase with terminal ornaments for the end of words (Swashes) as well as alternative letters that change according to the context or the letter they have next to them , these characters give the font the ability to compose texts with many variants of different letters, thus achieving an appearance close to the real handwritten letters.
They are ideal for designing cards, posters, eye-catching headlines, advertising, publications or texts where a contrast is sought between this manual style compared to neutral fonts such as Sans or Serif.
The “Lucemita” font has in its commercial version a set of 659 glyphs (Latin Extended-A) , with support for any European or Central European language. Lucemita font also includes OpenType functions ( compatible with InDesign , QuarkXpress , Photoshop, and Illustrator ).
