Luna (“Moon” in several European languages) is based on Alegreya Sans from Huerta Tipográfica. Although original Alegreya Sans is good, it has some problems, especially their low x-height, and use of oldstyle figures; that’s why Luna was born.
The changes are: increased x-height (to look more taller than original Alegreya Sans, especially in Regular, Light and Extra Light weights), made tabular lining figures as default, and others to be made soon. Luna is released under the SIL Open Font License, v1.1.
