Poly is a medium contrast serif font. With brief ascenders and a quite higher x-height, Poly is effective in smaller sizes. Because of its cautious balance amongst the x-height and glyph widths, it permits a lot more economy and legibility than common net serifs, even in modest sizes.
This font was initially designed to compose texts in agglutinative languages; these include incredibly lengthy words. The objective was to create a typeface that would tolerate cramped tracking and that would boost the number of letters on a single line.
Poly is actually a Unicode typeface household that supports Open Type characteristics and languages that use the Latin script and its variants, specially Native South American language households.
