Sul Sans is a geometrically constructed typeface with features observed in capital letters on signs and buildings in Portugal. Taken separately, these features are obviously not exclusively Portuguese, they can be seen in Italy and Spain, but they do show up together and consistently, on several signs and buildings in Portugal
Sul Mono is the fixed width version of Sul Sans, and is uses the standard width of 600 units, so it takes the exact same horizontal space as popular monospace fonts, like Courier or Andale Mono.
